On this fast and furious six-mile stretch of river, you’ll battle over half a dozen class IV rapids. Paddle so hard your knuckles turn white as you avoid obstacles through rapid #4. Then drop down what feels like a small waterfall in rapid #5, one of the most fun class IV rapids around! The Numbers white water rafting trips are known to leave rafters shaking with exhilaration.

A trip rafting The Numbers is not for those looking for a relaxing float down the river, and it’s best enjoyed early in the summer when the river is running high and fast. If you love extreme, world-class rapids, this is the trip for you. You’re likely to pass bighorn sheep, deer, and other quintessential Colorado wildlife – but with how fast you’ll be going, you may miss them! Add on the Narrows section of the river for a full-day experience where you can take in more of the rugged Colorado beauty. But don’t worry – you’ll still find this section fast-paced and challenging.

The Numbers isn’t for the faint of heart. Our guides who lead these trips are adrenaline-loving expert rafters. With intense rapids, the water level dictates when we can offer this trip. If you’re stoked for a run down The Numbers, let us know in advance. These trips are not offered as often as our other trips.

You can experience The Numbers in either a half-day or full-day trip. You’ll battle through the toughest section of the river on both of these trips. With the full-day trip, you’ll add on the Narrows where you’ll find the river a bit calmer, but still packed full of fun and challenging class III rapids. Our certified guides provide lunch on the side of the river, offering a short break from the rapids. You’ll be able to bask in the sun and relive the tales of your adventures so far rafting The Numbers.
