First you’ll board AOW jeeps that take you on a short 4 wheel drive road to the location of the course. The 5 zip line course has cables between 225 feet to over 650 feet long, and is perched along the edge of canyon walls up to 90 feet above the rocks below – it’s full of enough adventure for the whole family. The tour is usually 5 cables long, but on some tours there’s enough time to zip the last two cables twice, making it a 7 zip tour. Zip line tours require that participants are in relatively good physical condition, but you don’t have to be a hall of fame athlete to enjoy the experience! The minimum age requirement for this activity is 6 years, and minimum weight requirement is 50 pounds. The maximum weight allowance is 250 pounds . Guests need to be sturdy on their feet and be comfortable walking over uneven ground at over 6700 feet in elevation. The hikes involved between cables totals approximately 1/2 mile in length and up to 100 feet in elevation gain. Zip lining in Colorado is a true adventure with some physical demands, but realize that this is still a family-friendly experience. The passive braking system is a favorite of nervous parents – the guides have the ability to slow down your little adventurers or a nervous guest prior to landing to maintain control.

Guests are required to sign a release waiver confirming their abilities.
